​I’m Rob Connors, a fractional growth and innovation leader driven by a passion for Igniting Growth and Driving Innovation. My career spans over four decades, beginning at Dow Inc., where I honed my skills leading the growth of businesses through commercial and marketing leadership roles. During this time, I discovered my passion for new business development and the excitement of uncovering untapped opportunities to drive commercial and financial success.

This passion fueled my transition into corporate venture and new business development roles at Dow Inc., where I led over 50 new business and new product opportunity evaluations. A key aspect of my role involved leading multi-functional teams, uniting diverse expertise to drive strategic initiatives and deliver impactful results. I led new business growth opportunities through business adjacency moves, spearheaded efforts in creating joint ventures (JVs) and strategic alliances, and advanced critical initiatives. These efforts delivered measurable outcomes, advancing 14 growth opportunities with a combined NPV of $325M.

Building on this foundation, I expanded my expertise by working with start-ups and early-stage businesses. Here, I brought together my corporate insights and entrepreneurial passion to empower emerging companies to thrive. I deeply understand the challenges medium and small-sized businesses face, especially when resource constraints make it difficult to find innovative pathways to grow and scale.
